Agreed. Last year I got a good rate by downloading a voucher for Travelex and presenting it at Gatwick. The best option was a kiosk in central London somewhere (Thomas Exchange in Victoria IIRC) but factoring in the train fare and time it wasn't worth it.


Avoid the high street banks and Post Office...

This spread is a bit skewed (much wider when selling EUR), and it would be skewed the other way in Euroland.


Spot/midmarket seems fair to me. Either way - glad some FX place will miss out on some/most of their ?75 :-)
