Africarnival!

Sunday 30 August

12-6pm

If you?re staying local this weekend, don?t miss Africarnival, the last of our African Summer events - which promises to be a colourful celebration of our African season featuring circus performers, dancing, music, exuberant carnival parades and workshops. We also have African street food including Ghanaian cuisine.

For the carnival parade, Mandinga Arts, one of the performers, has been working with a number of community partners and artists to create extraordinary costumes, masks and puppets inspired by the African collections at the Horniman. You can see a preview of what they?ve created on our blog.

  Emissions from motor vehicles, in particular diesels and even more so pre-2016 for cars, are the main source of roadside nitrogen dioxide. Therefore you have two choices, cleaner motor vehicles or less motor vehicle journeys. Drivers and owners are the main cause. Clean Air Dulwich are championing less car use.

  I think I just lost my mens link bracelet while walking from East Dulwich station along Grove Vale towards Lordship Lane would have been around 1pm It’s of significant sentimental value so if anyone has found it, I would appreciate them getting in touch Thank you John
