If the Sky engineer spoke with them, I'd be asking them for the money, not the neighbours who didn't put the scaffolding up.I appreciate that this is very annoying for you, but to them it's probably pretty far down the list of things to worry about at this time. If you can prove their scaffolding caused your Sky to fail then they will just pay up! You need it in writing from the sky engineer that this was the cause. Once you have that I think they will be unlikely to argue.If you PM me their names I will check out what kind of lawyers they are - other than in inconsiderate ones!
