....oh, hang on a minute, I was forgetting, they're lizards aren't they?

It was more of a "semi-deactivation" where their ability to post comments on the forum was removed however they could continue to have conversations with people via PM. Not any more though and a full deactivation has been put in place.

Not really our type though, was she? Not with all that Nunhead ruffian poke to her.

No, she couldn't have been, not at all. A rank outsider and a bounder to boot.

Oh, if you look in AFN, sorry for lobbing 'male' epithets at you.

    • You raise a good point here regarding heat/climate. The recent dry spell has caused the ground to dry up and move. Just as this movement causes cracks in the walls of people’s homes, it also causes water pipes underground to fracture, hence the recent uptick in reported leaks and the heightened workload for TW
    • It  might have been a stop on a car i think as there was a car with blue police tape on it and smashed windows on drivers side a few doors from my house but I didn't see or hear anything

    • Does it deal at all with the question of the anticipated per capita future costs of necessary repairs to or upgrading of the ?still largely old underground piping across their area, and how that compares with future risks existing in other areas?  I wonder too whether the latest apparent concentrated spate of leaks is attributable at all to the heat. TW say that they have not made any dividend payments to external shareholders (among them a Candian teachers pension fund) since 2017.    There have been like payments, though, to their holding companies (?Kemble, and Thames ?something), reportedly I think to service debts to them. Thames Water annual company reports are available online.  Ofwat have also published about leakage.
