Cassius
Just to say thank you to the generous people in Underhill Road who have books out for the taking (if you are forumites) - it's a lovely idea and I look forward to reading mine. Jah Lush
Last year there were a lot of read or unread books redistributed and left around Underhill, Wood Vale and Melford Road for people to just pick up, take home and read. Most people just left them on walls, fences, gates etc. Nice idea. Seems it's happening again. Hope it continues. Applespider
Are they 'Bookcrossing' labelled or just entirely anonymous? Might see if I have any that I could leave out since I'm in that neck of the woods. hpsaucey
Keep meaning to Bookcross - really nice idea. Although I have got some real stinkers I may leave around. If anyone finds a copy of 'The Celestine Prophesy' left around its probably from me. If I were you I wouldn't pick it up LOL. (great name, btw :) )You could get three quid for it on Green Metropolis, I've sold loads of books on that after a forum recommendation, though admittedly not quite so flakey, but some of them very nearly as flakey :))Yeh Bookcrossing, my daughter got me into it, brilliant idea! You've obvioulsy seen reviews of it? Might try Green Metropolis - sounds interesting. Name - my initials are HP!
