5 a side football for over 50s?

Does anyone know of 5 a side teams in the area which are good for over 50s and the not so fit? Please let me know if you do...Thank you.

Hi Brigid,

There's something else that you might like to check out called the London Ladies Friendly League. It consists of around 8 local women's teams of all ages abilities who play 11-a-side league games through the season every two weeks or so. Every team also has a mid week training session, at a local astroturf and a couple of the teams also have five-a-side teams.

It's a league for all ages and abilities, VERY informal and VERY friendly, and the teams are always looking for players, for anyone who wants to play. The league itself is run by Pete Deller and there is a facebook group at;

You can find out about the teams there, or just put a shout out in a post and someone will get back to you.

Thanks for that info - so I guess the Peckham Rye Saturday morning one is still on and starts at 11am, meeting at the Cafe?
