Delaying school start for summer-born children

Hi, I just saw this press release and thought it might be of interest. It looks like this is going to be a genuine option for anyone who wants it.

Very interesting! I just went with the flow when my three children were due to start reception. There was nothing in the news about delaying school or whatever. All three went to the local school nursery at 3 and then on to reception class.

They've all gone on to do well in their GCSE's/A levels, with my summer born child getting the best results out of the lot so you never know!
