MelanieRose
Hey there,Does anyone have any experience with this nursery?I got a good feel from the staff and they were great with my twins when I went in for a look around. They held them so that I could take a baby-less wander around and when I collected them they had both contently fallen asleep in the staff's arms. So even though I feel good about it but first hand experience and advice would be very much appreciated.I felt a bit rushed at 2 other nurseries I went to, one of them impressed me and the other was a definite no-no!HELP! Fuschia
A friend of mine used it, she said it was consistently awful over several years. And I think it failed several ofsteds. But the baby room was the best bit. Sorry. Mellors
I'm afraid I have only heard bad things about this place (although haven't seen it myself). toast
It also just looks/ feels a bit weird (i know this could be a bit unhelpful but vibe does matter in these places). MelanieRose
Oh dear! What to do, what to do...Any recommendations then? I am only looking for a Monday, perhaps 2 days at a later date. The twins will be 7 1/2 months when they start so needs to be a nursery that takes that age group.I am happy to go with a childminder so open to suggestions. I know that a lot of people have chosen not to go back to work fulltime and are off Mondays and/ or Fridays which makes it very convenient for me as Monday is the 1 day that I HAVE to be at work. If I do decide to send the twins 2 days then Friday would be my first choice covering that second day. kathrynlockett
I really like their staff, manager and baby room.Their latest OFSTED report is also good in terms of their early years provision - http://www.ofsted.gov.uk/oxcare_reports/download/%28id%29/228522/%28as%29/EY229507_INSP.pdf Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/7436-excel-nursery-in-forest-hill-road/#findComment-276418 Share on other sites
