Any recommendations for window shutters? Could anyone also give us an idea of cost for one bay window ?

Shearwater Shutters is very good (can't look up the details as I'm typing this on my mobile, but look on www.SE23.com). Very good service, and competitive price. Bear in mind almost all shutters are produced by the same manufacturers in China so price won't usually have anything to do with differences if quality.

Solid shutters for a pretty big front bay cost me around ?800 from memory, although that was with a discount.

After much research (!) we went with Appeal. They did a great job and we've since recommended them to others locally. They are really reasonable too.

Also look at London Interior Shutters, they are a local company and very good. They done my neighbors and mine.

Hi,

Im not sure about London. My mum lives in Dorset and she had her shutters installed by a great company, she still feels they have great customer service too.

This is the phone number of the guy who went to see her who is local - 07590541124 - Ashley.

He is still working for that company but I can't remember the name of them.

Im guessing if you need them to ne installed outside Dorset he may be Ble to give you another contact name
