Hello, i was just wondering if anyone could give me any feedback about Mother Goose nursery on Upland road. I've been offered a place for my 2 year old, but have made some bad choices before with childcare so if anyone's got the inside scoop i would be grateful. Many thanks x

I would also be interested in any feedback. Have been to see a few in the area and this was our favourite, but you can't beat first-hand experience.

Did you end up sending your child there, Llama999? Or get any response?

Would hugely appreciate any views - good or bad!

Thank you

I remember hearing the management had changed not too long ago. Might be worth keeping in mind, and making sure any advice you hear relates to the current set of managers. My own experience of it was under the past managers, so probably not helpful to pass along now.

llama999 & Emski,

DS's (turns 3 in Sept)been attending Mother Goose for almost a year now, he seems to really like it ...although recently, he shouts *to the rescue guys* when i drop him off - but that's just child's playful :) The staff seem nice, encourage feedback and have always taken what i've said/requested for on board, e.g potty training issues etc.

If you're thinking of going part-time, i find the afternoon sessions better as it's 1-6pm (and works out cheaper) and morning sessions 8-12.

Our son has been going for a year and loves it. The outdoor area at the back is great, staff friendly and the manager is approachable and professional. I will be putting my daughters name down for a place in a few months (as she is still very young) so def recommend it. Obviously you will have the initial settling in period but I'd say he will be happy there once this passes.

    • Yes, we have a Casio CT-S100 we no longer need, except I dont think we have the headphones any more. It has a USB connection. £50? https://www.argos.co.uk/product/7333639
    • Thank you! She is both spayed and microchipped, and reported missing on Petlog and with the vets.   She normally never goes out the front, certainly for never more than 10-15 minutes, so this is definitely new territory for her. There is lots of dense foliage across the road so there are plenty of places she could be hiding if she is spooked, so we are hoping she will come back when she is calm. The weather isn't helping, she never goes out in the rain. Thank you again!
    • Hi, Have you been letting her out the front door onto the street or would this be a first & therefore unfamiliar with the area? Does she respond to a name & is she spayed & microchipped? Our team carry scanners on our daily routes & will of course be looking our for her. I hope you are reunited with her soon. If not already, notify your street & surrounding streets (find out if they have Whatsapp groups) Dox will print & deliver free missing posters https://www.doxdirect.com/help/free-missing-pet-posters/ Call her at dusk & dawn when street & foot traffic is at its lowest.
