If you believe that HonaB and bbw are two dimorphous substances then its Number 4:Isodimorphous....

You are right. How the heck you managed to deduce that correctly I'll never know, especially as I'm on a much lower intellectual level than yourgoodself.

This is why I perfectly understand you totally ignoring my genuine question earlier.

Sorry I didn?t even see that. I was too busy trying to get to bbw by slagging off Forest Hill.

I was trying to find a way home after missing the last train from Willesden Jnc. when I ended up completely lost. I was on one of those railway footpaths when a few unsavory looking fellows with a couple of pit bulls approached me. My immediate reactions was that they were after trouble but it turned out they were only interested in whether or not I was in the market for some crack cocaine.

After politely declining their offer one of them said something to me along the lines of, ?You really shouldn?t be wondering around here mate.? and then directed me to the closest cab office.

The educational side of it was, don?t go wondering around lonely areas in London?s murder capital at 2am.

Thanks Brendan.

Funny thing happened to me 3 years ago in the Peckham Road which is the one b4 you turn left into Commercial Way.

I saw 2 pretty girls on my right-hand side at 2.00AM on a Saturday Night and my car hit the kerb, accordingly and burst my tyre. I drove to the "Jet" garage in The Old Kent Road and waited for The A.A.

Fast forward one year and an identical thing happened at the same kerb at roughly the same time, Saturday Night again!..Same Garage waiting for the A.A. and I was really worried that these 5 young lads were hanging round ( to the extent that I left my car there and walked away). It turns out that they were waiting for The Night Bus and I, sheepishly, returned to my vehicle b4 The A.A. Guy turned up...

If you are using a shop which doesn't give an itemised receipt, or doesn't give a receipt at all, just be aware that it might be a good idea to check that you are not paying over the odds (and if using cash, that you are given the right change for what you handed over). When staff are busy they might make mistakes.
    • As I had a moan on here about the truly abysmal Christmas meal we had at The Cherry Tree last year, I am redressing the balance by saying we had a really excellent Christmas meal at Franklins last night. Every course was absolutely delicious and  really well cooked. The staff were lovely despite being exhausted and run off their feet. In particular, my sea bass was a large portion and cooked to perfection, in stark contrast to the small dried up portion The Cherry Tree provided, from which I was barely able to scrape a teaspoonful of flesh (that is not an exaggeration). And our Franklins meal cost less than half what we paid at The Cherry Tree (to be fair, that was on Christmas Day so the Cherry Tree costs would have been higher, but that doesn't excuse the appalling quality meal). Thank you again to Franklins for restoring our faith in eating out at Christmas!
