CPT and Hoopers obviously but I can't believe no one's mentioned The Wishing Well in Peckham. The inside original architecure is perfect. It was used as a traditional pub in the film Last Orders. Also try the Pyrotechnics Arms in Nunhead.

Funny I was going to say the Lord Clyde or the Kings Arms in SE1 but got beaten to it. The Royal Oak in SE1 sort of fits the bill too.
