I saw him last year too, this is truely amazing. He stopped outside Summerfields bought a pukka pie and a copy of Non League Weekly then was off on his way back towards Forest Hill.

This was an unforgetable moment! I caught it with my I Phone.

a quick google yielded this pathetic comment:

Peter Theo is a former Millwall (unconfirmed) and Arsenal (unconfirmed) player who has become a property tycoon (unconfirmed). Peter Theo is also the footballer who's career ended prematurely due to a pie related knee injury, however, since then, he has gained respect from the footballing world for his wikipedia entry (marked for deletion due to minor fabrications of a football career).

Also no idea who he is, but I honestly can't imagine rushing for my i-phone to video anyone cycling and shopping in Somerfield on a Tuesday morning (and not just because i don't have an i-phone)

Anna_80, I'm happy for you and the joy this has clearly brought you, but I've just don't get it.

Is he like Luther Blisset* in Italy, an anarchist collective, we are legion for we are Luther Blisset (I kid you not I even have a historical novel written by him/them).

On the subject of pies, who was the ex professional with brief spell at Champion Hill who was a tad, errm, roly poly?

*except of course Luther Blisset was real, or at least that's what they want you to think!

    • This is just normal business behaviour. That's why there are so many coffee shops in ED and shops selling gifts and interiors stuff, clothes, restaurants.  If there's more than one business of a similar type then it can benefit all of them up to a saturation point and keep up quality. It's all sounding like many think Chango has made a malicious move when it actually sounds like it's owned by one guy who has a good business that has done well.   Anyway this is all great advertising for both empanada places. Very close by is the organic grocer who sells really good value and very tasty samosas and other Indian snacks which are also worth trying.
    • Hello, Does this lovely little panther have a name? & Is he neutered & microchipped?
    • Well I don’t approve for a shop doing the same food to open so near - just wrong in my opinion. Why not go to the village, Peckham - foot fall would be great in Peckham and certainly more multi  cultural than ED. Village has money but doubt foot fall would be as good as ED.  At least they could have gone to the stretch leading up to Peckham Rye or why not bottom of Barry Road?? Or even North Cross Road I for one, on principal won’t be going in.
    • Heh yeah haven't even bothered to remove the emdash. The OP is AI slop as well.
