Damp Proofer Dave Reilly of Plastercare

I just wanted to recommend Dave Reilly, of Plastercare, who did an excellent job on the damp problems we had in our Victorian terrace. He explained everything very well, made minimal mess and was very happy to work round the other workmen and their tools/benches that were littering the house. He is friendly and courteous and did the work for a good price.

His number is 07932 505589.

I would like to add another recommendation for Dave Reilly, who has repaired the cornice on our Victorian house - which had been in a very bad state. At the same time, Dave also identified the cause and repaired some isolated patches of damp (including around a lower floor bay window). Dave gave a clear and fair quote with breakdown of all costs, and was able to carry out the work to schedule, using appropriate tools and materials. All work was completed to a high standard.

We also found Dave to be reliable and polite, and are happy to recommend to those looking to resolve similar issues with damp and/or otherwise looking for a skilled plasterer.

Another recommendation for Dave Reilly. We've had an offer accepted on a house and were concerned about some damp throughout the property. I got in touch in the evening and he had a look the next day. He offered practical and reasonable solution to the problems and was very reassuring.

He didn't want to simply inject the whole house like every other damp 'expert' I've dealt with in the past. We'd have no hesitation in using Dave again.

Where was the abject outrage when Dynamic Vines opened up literally next door to Cave de Bruno? But I don't see his customers decamped next door - no, those stalwarts are still out in force every night.  In Roman times all businesses were clustered by product. It's what kept prices down. Same in any market you go to abroad, they're all selling the same things next to each other.  Why is everyone being so hard on this new place? It's called healthy competition - you can't curtail the expansion of your business on the basis you that might hurt someone else's.
    • I have a new fixation so any available, please let me know.  Thanks.
