How to clean silver plated phot frames?

Sorry I hope this isn't too un-family-room-ish, but I thought you guys might know! My silver plated frames have a gold/brown tint to them, although still some silver spots too. Does anyone have any tips on how to clean them please?

I believe you can clean it like pure silver, ie, polish with a dry soft cloth. If this doesn't work, you could try using a touch of silver polish which should do the trick as I presume it is the actual silver that is oxidising. And certainly silver polish wouldn't hurt it.

sounds crazy but if you have anything silver that has tarnished you can take it off with a soft rubber!
