I worry as to what it means for characters in DC Thomson comics who are suddenly seized by a bright idea.

A 5 second delay while the light warms up, followed by a not very satisfying glow, is not going to be sufficient for that "ping" moment when a whizzbang jape occurs to Dennis or Minnie.

Apart from anything else, it will be difficult to draw without using another frame.

i find your post offensive racist and rude.

you should keep your BNP leanings to the BNP site http://bnp.org.uk/

I only pay groats for mine

the Ryness on Fleet St has had alarmist notices all over the shop for ages - so much so that I won't buy anything from them anymore. The tone of the notices reminded me of Trago Mills in Devon - hilariously bizaare antiEU rants as well as the usual ragbag of prejudices

still, at least people complained about them

One of the Ryness notices - "shining a light on an EU coverup" indeed...

I can still say I don't like the new bulbs all that much - it's just that I don't think The Man is really interfering that much with my life here

The Man wants us to pollute and use oil!

The Man wants to believe in Global Warming and use communist, EU light bulbs!

Which is it?

Personally I think as long as we carry on merrily building a society that is more and more reliant on financial institutions for the provision of basic services (all in the name of freedom and financial independence of course) the Man couldn?t give a toss what our stance on florescent light, the political Union of disparate countries and/or Al Gore films is.

    • The empty shelves is well reported, but the sewage smell has been awful for weeks if not months, and just keeps getting worse. It started off near the Costa machine/ behind the delivery and collections booth thing, but now it hits you the second you walk in the store. I’m amazed nothing (visibly at least) appears to be going on to fix it. Somewhat relieved it’s not just me who can smell it!
