Help!

My 3 year old boy is very hyper (and bit bored) I want to try and engage him in some kind of activity over the weekends but most places i have looked at have a minimum age of 4 years.

Just wondering if anyone has any ideas on activities, apart from swimming, which i can look into.

Any playgroups you can recommend??

Any info would be hugely appreciate, thanks very much!

Little Kickers football in Dulwich or Nunhead (think you sign up for a course)

Tiny Gym at Camberwell Leisure Centre run by Southwark Gymnastics (10.15am and 11.15am, drop in, ?4 per session)

This website might help:

Hope you find something!

My son (who sounds of similar personality) loves the gymnastics in camberwell mentioned above. The teachers are brilliant too at encourage him and his his attention and listening rather than being punitive. Am a former (as in ALONG time ago) gymnast and think it is lovely to see my son enjoying the same sport.

We tried football at hillyfields which claims to start at 3, but he was not ready for that at all.

Mondays and Thursdays at 10 or 11. Saturdays at 10.15 or 11.15, the first sessions tend to be the more busier. http://southwarkgymnastics.co.uk/classes/tiny-gym/

I think they also run a pre-school class on a Thursday afternoon 1 or 2 pm start but not tried them.

    • Not so fast @malumbu. This is not a nothing to see here moment (and for some of us on the forum it is local as her house is in Dulwich)- the BBC explain why, have a read: https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cvgkvd3jg2no Southwark's role in this will be key - did they alert her, will they fine her (as they have done with other private landlords), was it someone in Southwark who leaked it? This government came in on a ticket of integrity and this type of thing is very damaging to that message - especially in light of other similar issues Starmer's front-bench has had - it cannot be one rule for them and one rule for us. @Dulwichway you know you're in political trouble when videos like that appear within hours of a story breaking.....and goes viral.
    • The limit is supposed to be 25 per day.  Have you made that amount today?
    • 🤣 Well, I can apparently  "react" provided I take up a whole other post to do it. I wonder when "today" ends, and what is my daily quota of "reactions"?
