Are we under attack? (low flying helicopter)

Did anyone else have a near miss with a low flying helicopter today? Thought I had been transported to an episode of The A Team, or Traffic Cops!

was it to do with the open day at the police station?

Was it the air ambulance?

The flypast was followed by a load of sirens in the Goose Green roundabout area.

The air ambulance is bright red if that's any help. It is stationed at the Royal London Hospital where I work part of the time.

Yes, this was all part of the Emergency Services Open day which was taking place at the end of my road yesterday. They appeared to be allowing children to explore the vehicles and let off the sirens - at one point there were three going off at once. Not the most peaceful of afternoons!

Thank you for this, I shall certainly sleep easier now, knowing the BA and Mr T are not zooming in to Lordship Lane!

Yes definitely not Mr T - if rumour is to be believed, it's not just his BA persona - he is in fact afraid of flying
