red
Heya, So anyone give me a rough idea on how much it would cost to get a small bathroom tiled? Its only 1.3 * 1.6 metres (around a toilet and sink ) and the price quoted seems a bit pricey for me! Its just to lift up the old tiles and place down new ones - I've bought all the required grout etc... Cheers! Jeremy
Just the wall tiles? And only the areas surrounding the sink and bath? Sounds like it would take maybe a day and a half... so maybe ?250? bigbadwolf
Most D.I.Y stores will have an advice centre that will be able to provide some sort of Ad hoc quantity surveying. Wickes certainly does. Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/7821-cost-of-tiling/#findComment-244294 Share on other sites

iaineasy
I think it will be a days work for me and could do it for ?100 I have a motorised tile cutter and all the necessary tools, however it depends on the state of the floor and how easy the old tiles come up, it may neefd to be skimmed with latex which needs to be laid and left over night but thats not a big job,and could be priced at about ?40 to take up tiles and latex, then as its a small floor ?100 to fix n grout the tiles.best regardsIain07984336300 if you would like me to have a look for you. SJK
HI there - I need a splashback tiling around my kitchen - it's a single tile width all the way around and the kitchen is L-shaped and about 5m by 4m. Does anyone know how much I should be paying for this? Any advice gratefully received.
