Rockets
Just spoken to Thames Water who say that there is a mains burst in Friern Road and it is affecting a large area of ED. They are saying that it could take up to 6 hours to get the water back on. Rockets
I think two mains have gone as there is water pouring out of a hole in the road on Goodrich. Water on again on Hillcourt now. Ms T
It was Friern Road, as I had to hang on the telephone line to Thames Water for ages, trying to find out why we had no water. louisiana
MY experience is that we lose water altogether around 3-4 times a year. It makes sense to have a store of water somewhere in your home (which if, like me, you have a new-style boiler with no water tanks anywhere, means actually storing some).
