Another water mains failure

Does anyone know what caused his and when it will be resolved. I can't fi d I fo on the Thames Water website.

Ok, this isn't just mr then and we are also on Hillcort. Anyone else in meighbouring streets or is it just us?

Im on Goodrich and its pretty low pressure here too.

Just spoken to Thames Water who say that there is a mains burst in Friern Road and it is affecting a large area of ED. They are saying that it could take up to 6 hours to get the water back on.

Just did the same.the burst is on the junction of Friern and LL.

But didn't the same thing happen, at above-said junction a few weeks back?

that was underhill and ll a few weeks back, or woodvale. near us, anyway.

Came on for a few minutes on Hillcourt and now gone again.

We've got nothing, or very little in Barry Rd :(

I think two mains have gone as there is water pouring out of a hole in the road on Goodrich. Water on again on Hillcourt now.

It was Friern Road, as I had to hang on the telephone line to Thames Water for ages, trying to find out why we had no water.

Thay are outside our house working on it as we speak.

MY experience is that we lose water altogether around 3-4 times a year. It makes sense to have a store of water somewhere in your home (which if, like me, you have a new-style boiler with no water tanks anywhere, means actually storing some).
