Good news, rubberlovers! The shop has reopened as Dulwich Tyres & Car Services. 020 8299 6467. It seems very busy. I wouldn't believe your radio @zork... Please @Administrator could the title be changed to "Dulwich Tyres opens at old Melbourne Tyres location" or similar, when you have a moment? -

Josh at l'Atelier du Velo is amazing - its on the row of shops by the Lordship pub. He only does servicing and the quality of his work is fantastic plus he's a lovely guy! They don't do appointments, you just drop the bike in. I only have good things to say! -
Damned hard work using a tamper. I'd recommend using a petrol driven compactor. I hired one for a day for £31 (inclusive of VAT) from Premier Hires located under the arches on Burbage Road. Does a far better job than a manual tamper -particularly if cars are going to running over the area.
