AnnieT
Hello all,I wondered if anyone knew of any good places for pregnancy yoga classes? Looked into Jags but you have to sign up for 12 months. Thanks,Annie Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/7980-yoga-claases-for-pregnant-women/ Share on other sites
MrsC
I use Sitaram Yoga who hold weekly classes at Kings College Hospital (Thurs evenings & Sat mornings)http://www.sitaram.org/about/index.htmlI find them really helpful and the teachers are very good, no waiting list and you can book your classes via their online system Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/7980-yoga-claases-for-pregnant-women/#findComment-247805 Share on other sites
jeh
I have a recommendation that might suit if you want to send me a message but it would be honor oak rather than east dulwich. Citrovie
Highly recommend Janet Evans' classes at the Soup Dragon. Used to be at 10am on Fridays. The classes aren't very intense and arguably a bit repetitive but the movements and breathing techniques (and all the great no-nonsense advice Janet gave to prepare us for labour) were of great use throughout pregnancy and labour. esme
Sitaram Yoga now run classes at St Barnabas church hall (nice and warm not cold and draughty as you might imagine as in smaller part of the hall - just off the village nr Audi garage in Dulwich Village). I tried it last night and it was very gentle, suitable for those very tired (maybe during first 3 months) and then nr the end when you can't move much and need as much rest as possible :) teacher (Jo) is lovely and the class lasts for 1.5 hours so good value for money (6pm start)Check out their website: http://www.sitaram.org Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/7980-yoga-claases-for-pregnant-women/#findComment-260169 Share on other sites
