*Bob*
I read with much sadness this morning that Lenny 'Joe' McLeish passed away last night, at 10.56pm.Lenny found early fame with the BBC during the 1950s in hit shows Don't Tell Mother and Pass The Brush, but it was his work on Bird Watch? for Anglia which made him a household name. . A late move to Hollywood saw him earn the admiration of a whole new generation through a series of road safety commercials and as a body double in Predator II.Never one to complain and always a fighter, Lenny finally 'passed his last brush' after a long battle with thrush outside the Golden Lion in Dudley last night, surrounded by family and friends.God Bless. Muley
A long battle, surrounded by his family and friends? Just how big was this bird that killed him outside the pub?And if even his nearest and dearest couldn't be arsed to pitch in and help, that makes him a wrong 'un in my book.
