Lenny McLeish dies - aged 84

I read with much sadness this morning that Lenny 'Joe' McLeish passed away last night, at 10.56pm.

Lenny found early fame with the BBC during the 1950s in hit shows Don't Tell Mother and Pass The Brush, but it was his work on Bird Watch? for Anglia which made him a household name. . A late move to Hollywood saw him earn the admiration of a whole new generation through a series of road safety commercials and as a body double in Predator II.

Never one to complain and always a fighter, Lenny finally 'passed his last brush' after a long battle with thrush outside the Golden Lion in Dudley last night, surrounded by family and friends.

Losing Lenny McLeish and being aware of Lenny McLean's death on the same day is not to be mocked....:(

Since Lenny McLean died - nearly ten years ago - lots of other people have too. A busy day ahead for you - and google.

And if even his nearest and dearest couldn't be arsed to pitch in and help, that makes him a wrong 'un in my book.

I was saying elsewhere Mick that, only last night, we got 9 out of the current "Top 10" threads in The Lounge.

Someone spoilt it by writing something totally inconsequential about some irrelevant Subject otherwise we would have been the first to have had a clean sweep since The Beatles back in '66...

I think that's another way of saying TLS, that if we keep boring everyone else they might give us the Lounge to ourselves and then they'll probably set up a seperate section for serious minded people - hey wait a minute.

So where is this serious grown ups writing room, I have looked everywhere? I don't want to do any Drawing so I'm not going in there, I might though want to do some colouring in later is there felt tips & crayons.
