Mummytime - new pop up event providing me-time for new mums

Are you a mum of a young baby? Feel like you need some pampering? Sorry, silly question. Of course you do, and you really deserve it too.

Well, in just a few weeks, on Tuesday 1 March, Mummytime Ltd will be holding its next event in Herne Hill at the beautiful Carnegie Library. So why don't you come along for a morning of afternoon of activities that will leave you feeling refreshed and replenished.

At Mummytime we know a happy mummy equals a happy baby. So our pop up events provide mums with a little bit of me-time with nurturing for the body, mind (and baby).

For one single ticket price, you can enjoy one of our three pamper packages (while your baby is being cared for in our on-site cr?che), attend our expert talks on postnatal fitness and life coaching, and chill out in our cafe with other local mums.

Whether you need some relaxation to restore your energy levels or you fancy treating yourself to a mummy makeover, there is something for everyone.

Come along with friends or come to meet new friends.

Find out more and book your ticket at www.mummytime.co.uk.

Look after yourself while we look after your baby.

When: Tuesday 1 March 2016

Where: Carnegie Library, Herne Hill Road, Herne Hill

Hell?

I am due end of April and would love to meet you on the 21st feb.

This is my first baby and I would like to give birth with no epidural: however appartement from nct classes I don't know any pain management class around here.

Is it too late to start such classes? Could you recommend one to me?

Many many Thanks

Sarah

Hi Sarah it is definitely not too late. You could do a Hypnobirthing course and/or pregnancy yoga classes. Also highly recommend using a birth pool, it makes labour significantly more comfortable. I have done pregnancy yoga with Laura on Monday evening on Nunhead Lane, her Facebook page is Wise Mother. Or Lindy on Wed evenings in Talfourd Rd, but she is away for 2 weeks at the mo. It's worth doing the prep! Anna xx
Hello SpringBabies Moms-to-be. I'm a two time EDF spring baby mom 2012 & 2014. Anyway sorry to jump into your chat but Im having a clear out as were moving house and I've found my 6-9month Halloween babygrow, its a skeleton from Mothercare. Pic attached. Its the totally wrong time of year to be selling Halloween stuff especially as it will only fit a baby who hasn't been born yet!! But if any of you want to grab it for ?3 PM me, Collection from Lordship Lane. Best wishes to you all for safe births and healthy babies!
  • 2 weeks later...

Aw congrats Cath - sounds like you're the first in the group! Hope all's going well.

Great to catch up this afternoon with those who could make it.

We're next meeting for a coffee at 9.30am on Thursday (25th) at cafe G again - do come along if you can make it.

Also, if you're not already on the whatsapp group and would like to be, just let me know your email address and I will add you. Laura x

    • Second time Aria has completed a plumbing job for me and both times he’s been polite. Communicative, kept to time and completed the job. He’s very helpful and tidy as well. First job was ball valve in water tank, not easy at all. He and his team were fantastic. This time kitchen tap cylinders replaced and tap tightened.  Much appreciated, Aria thank you.
    • Thought others may be interested to help a local community centre help others.    My bank account offers roundup and it’s been growing all year. As well as treating myself or putting it towards a train ticket to see my family I’ve made a donation to the Albrighton. They can use donations at any time but I hope my donation will go towards the Christmas hampers.    Can you support them so they can provide Christmas hampers?   https://www.justgiving.com/crowdfunding/albrightoncommunityfridge?utm_id=1&utm_term=M22JKQb6W   A donation of £50 will pay for a hamper to feed a family over this Christmas period. A donation of £30 will pay for a hamper to feed someone living on their own over the Christmas period.
    • I've never got Christmas pudding. The only times I've managed to make it vaguely acceptable to people is thus: Buy a really tiny one when it's remaindered in Tesco's. They confound carbon dating, so the yellow labelled stuff at 75% off on Boxing Day will keep you going for years. Chop it up and soak it in Stones Ginger Wine and left over Scotch. Mix it in with a decent vanilla ice cream. It's like a festive Rum 'n' Raisin. Or: Stick a couple in a demijohn of Aldi vodka and serve it to guests, accompanied by 'The Party's Over' by Johnny Mathis when people simply won't leave your flat.
    • Not miserable at all! I feel the same and also want to complain to the council but not sure who or where best to aim it at? I have flagged it with our local MP and one Southwark councillor previously but only verbally when discussing other things and didn’t get anywhere other than them agreeing it was very frustrating etc. but would love to do something on paper. I think they’ve been pretty much every night for the last couple of weeks and my cat is hating it! As am I !
