littlemissindulgence
Hello, We are organising a fabulous charity event in the spring of 2016 and we are looking for 5 local children's charities to get involved and support. We want all proceeds to go to these local children's charities. Please can you help us by nominating a charity, telling us a bit more about them and your involvement and as to why we should consider them? It must be local and it must support children and their families. (We are not looking to enagage with the larger ones). This unique ED / Dulwich / Peckham / Nunhead community fundraising event is going to take place in the spring of 2016 and it involves an outdoor activity for both children and parents. Many Thanks in Advance, The Little Disco Company Kate Batty and Clare Newman Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/81674-looking-for-local-childrens-charities-please-nominate/ Share on other sites

FatherJack
I second DKHAP and Theatre Peckham, http://www.theatrepeckham.co.uk/ funding for the latter enables TP to offer access to drama/dance classes to those who cannot afford to. lorraineliyanage
A third vote for Dog Kennel Hill Adventure Playground. It's a fantastic resource for local children and also appeals to teens, providing various classes like pottery, music making/editing plus table tennis, computer use - all for free. They are fundraising for a new building.
