superhans Posted November 9, 2015 Share Posted November 9, 2015 We are selling our Laura Ashley Garrat Chestnet TV cabinet for ?50 ono. It has been a much loved piece, but unfortunately we are selling due to home renovations. It's a great item if you don't like to have a TV on display in a room. The Garrat range is still being sold at Laura Ashley so it's possible to pick up matching items such as a coffee table. It comes in two sections which are fixed together, but which come apart for transporting. (It just about fits in a VW Golf!)In the bottom part there are six large drawers which are great for storing things like CDs, DVDs and console game pads.In the top part, the TV sits on a stand which extends out. This is great if you have any seating to the sides of the unit as it means everyone can see the screen. There is a shelf underneath with plenty of space for a Sky box, DVD player or console.We currently have a 32" TV which fits well.One of the hinges wore out recently and we replaced with a standard hinge. You would need to look hard to see this and it's not visible at all when the doors are open, but I wanted to point this out. Otherwise the cabinet is in very good condition and, when new, cost ?850.Collection from Bellenden Road. If needed, we could do local delivery for ?10.
