I am after buying a pair of flip flops for my 4 year old daughter to wear at swimming lessons. We have just spent 3 months getting rid of a verrucae and think wearing flip flops on the pool side and in the changing rooms might help her not get one again.

Any suggestions of shops that still sell them?

Sorry, no suggestions for buying flip flops at this time of year but a top tip on getting rid of a verruca fast.

Place electricians tape or duct tape over the verruca for about a week and hey presto! it's gone. I think it works by blocking all light and oxygen from the verrucca (also works on warts)

After spending a small fortune on the different gels, creams etc and them having no effect the tape was like a miracle cure.

Both flats in house had access to a shared garden which was fenced off part way with each flat having their own piece of land. The front garden was shared and since both flats had young children, they put up a fence and gate between front door and pavement. Nothing was said by the council and even though those neighbours are now living else where, the fence and gate still remain and Southwark owns the freehold.

Maybe whack a bench on it and plant some flowers and then a little hedge around the perimeter to keep people out? I'm not sure if any of this is legal but it might be fun finding out?
