Recommendations for Good Damp Work Done two or more years ago

Hi, I've got a bit of rising damp in basement room, dodgy front steps causing damp also in basement room. I'd like recommendations for builders who fixed similar kinds of work two or so years ago. Meaning, work that has stayed fixed. Only time tells with damp work. Thanks a lot.

  The pasta is fantastic. I do think they would benefit from smartening up the frontage a bit (less writing?) but that's not an excuse for them to have no custom (they're 4.9 on Google FFS). There's only so much I can spend in there with my family!
