hi everyone,would anyone like to help me out with a free angle grinder?,got a few jobs to do around the house and cant afford one,any condition will do,even if it last a week,thanks in advance,pm with details,fingers crossed

Mr Blue Sky.. Have you ever used an Angle Grinder before. ?

The are very dangerous and can cause serious injury ...

The fact that you state 'any condition will do' does not inspire me with any confidence that

you have any concern for your own safety.

You will need Safety equipment too. Gloves, Goggles , Safety Helmet , Steel cap boots.

Have you got any of those.. ?

how many people use power tools at home and don't have all the Safety stuff. i think it's taking health and safety a bit to far ?? i went in to b&q the other day a got some plug sockets and no one asked me if i had all the safety gear.

i have all safety equipment and knowledge of a variety of power tools,just cant afford a grinder,that's all folks

B+Q are not obliged to ask if you have the recommended safety equipment,it is down to the individual,or consult a qualified person,which i would in your case mr,fox,because you were dealing with electrics

It wasnt me that was working on electrics, it was Ken78..

I did Re-wire my flat in 1980 (Different laws back then) It was tested in 2004 when I sold it and it passed 24 years on.

I was a power engineer when I worked for BT back then.. so although not qualified knew what I was doing.

Why not pick up a brand new one at LIDL. They are ?19.99 this week on special. Then after you have done the jobs, flog it off on this forum or Ebay.

You stand a good chance of coming out of it with very little cost.
