Hello,

I am new to the area (living in Sydenham at the moment) and found this forum. I am considering buying a flat in Cityview Court on Overhill road and just wondered if anyone has lived there and can tell me anything about the block?

I live opposite city vew court on overhill road. its a great street to live on. I bought here last year and there couldn't be happier!

its quite nice here and the neighbours leave you to your own business

and we have a good board of directors who sort out all things that need attention and are approachable

I also live in Cityview Court. It is a nice place to live - peaceful, clean and well maintained. The directors are excellent as they keep an eye on things.

I would recommend it.

Sorry to dig up an old thread, I'm considering moving in to one of these apartments.

Are there any issues with water pressure? The place I looked at only has an old electric boiler. Are there problems getting broadband internet and TV? I didn't see any satellite dishes or broadband cables on the building anywhere .

Water pressure is a little low but you can sort that out with a pump. BT Broadband no problem, don't know about Sky or Virgin Internet.

Hello, does anyone know if the block is managed by the directors or is a management company employed? If its a management company, which company? I live in a nearby block and we are considering changing our management company and ideally we would like one that is local and recommended.

It's run by Caxton commercial who take care of general maintenance etc. We have recently had the 10 year redecoration of the entire building inside and out. There's a monthly charge.
