Grainne17
The guys who sell trees at the Clockhouse and Rose pubs are really nice and trees are good quality, hoping to see them there this weekend myself! They donate all their profits to charity after they pay themselves a wage so a good cause too and a free mulled wine with every tree! IVAN EDAKE
Harry at The Plough pub carpark opposite Dulwich Library. Excellent trees, free delivery and ALL profits go to St Christophers Hospice. We get ours from him every year and I would urge EVERYONE on here to do likewise. He is an official sponsor of the hospice and it is all regulated by them. I believe he raised over ?5,000 last year from the two sites (another one at Bexleyheath I believe). Excellent cause, well worth supporting. Just ordered ours and he is dropping it off shortly. inshutters
We usually get ours from the Plough pub, as far as the cost goes these days not bad. Profits go to charity, great! siousxiesue
I'm getting mine from Harry and family very soon, they report being steadily busy for end of November-all good news for St Christopher's! Very wide range to choose from and no hard sell, just helpful friendly service!IVAN EDAKE Wrote:-------------------------------------------------------> Harry at The Plough pub carpark opposite Dulwich> Library. B&G
We went to The Plough in the end - the couple there were lovely and they seem to have raised a decent sum for charity. Went up yesterday - so far, so non-drop! Thanks all :) Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/84557-christmas-trees/#findComment-932467 Share on other sites
