Try calling Aerial Services 020 7582 8888, they're based in Vauxhall but they have a guy who lives in East Dulwich. We had a new aerial fitted on the roof of our house and it cost about ?170 from memory. That was for the guy to climb up the roof, fit an aerial and then run the cable down to the TV and connect it all up. I didn't think it was amazingly cheap at the time but they were really professional and did a really nice job.

I needed a TV aerial installed recently, it was a tricky job and I struggled to find someone. I ended up using Aerial Services www.aerialservices.co.uk. The engineer was called James and he was absolutely brilliant and gave me some really helpful advice. They also do sky installations and aren't put off by jobs where the aerial/dish needs to be placed in harder to access areas.

Hi Abbyb,

I only just saw your comment as I don't come on here very often. I run the office at Aerial Services and James is one of my guys. Thank you so much for your lovely comments which I will be heartily passing on to him,

All the best

Johnny

    • Unfortunately not a great job. Work done in a rush and delivered late, issues not addressed and poor communication throughout.
    • Children below 10 are under the age of criminal responsibility and I believe that although it's not strictly legal, police rarely make a fuss about them cycling on the pavement - it's a good way for them to practice regularly. I feel terrified seeing little children wobbling along on the road and would always have rather risked getting into trouble than endangering my child . I once saw a really little child cycling on Lordship Lane with her father and felt so worried I said something - and he told me it was because of people were complaining. In this case it was a tiny child and you weren't injured and nothing was damaged so it seems a bit of an over-reaction. It doesn't seem to me that what the father said to you was particularly rude although if he wasn't supervising I agree that wasn't responsible.
    • yeah but its a better class of dog faeces
