I might make it Sean, but am testing myself with a month without booze, so am considering hibernating for the whole month, but pencil me in nonetheless as the Castle is very handy for me and I'm sure I can enjoy orange and lemonade just as much as Guinness....

At least the disappointment of the result won't be exagerrated by alcohol.

Is Michel Platini referring?

Ah - a near miss, then. I watched the second half there. Received several quizzical looks due, I told myself, to a combination of my lack of repro Nylon + swarthy, Italianate, swoon boat* looks.

Also received: an impassioned by-the-porcelain lecture in defensive tactics from a gentleman whose micturation was in full progress when I entered said facilities, and still in impressive flow when I left.

That was probably Quids, right?

    • It's Christmas. People are sending presents they've left to almost the last minute,  and returning stuff they've bought online for presents and then  regretted. That's on top of all the usual transactions. The Post Office only has a max of four people on the counter, if you include the one nearest the street. They can't suddenly magic up more space! I imagine going when they open would be the quietest time, but what would I know?
    • Post Office this time of year…I’ve seen shorter queues for Hyperia (new Thorpe Park ride 🤣) Christmas may have been and gone by the time I get to front of queue but wish me luck. Day 3 off tryin! What’s goin on?!
    • Yes Aroma Lab is brilliant. They also work with an app called Paace which lets you save money on your coffee just by getting your steps in! I got a flat white there for £1.50!
