Just wanted to say I have just signed up my daughter for the following Christmas Science camp that looks fab, is at Imperial College, and has 30 per cent off if you register before Sunday. She is at Primary school, and loves Science, but feels like she doesnt do enough of it at school - just not enough time, particualrly the experiments. This one is really hands on, you learn to make a sledge, fake snow, grow sugar crystals and stuff. She did one last term, and they did incredible experiments including touching fire, and dissecting hearts and livers! You can find out more at www.richereducation.co.uk

Just to say the same company is doing a 10 per cent reduction for Science Workshops if you sign up before 23.59 on 10th January. They also do workshops in Robotics, and Civil Engineering, the latter are for 8-13 year olds, but the others suit 5-11 year olds.

How did yours get on with the Christmas Camp? Mine loved it!

    • Do you believe this is actually going to happen?!   Demolition was supposed to start in the summer but the Labour government have pulled the plug. Even Labour councillors have had to begin petitioning the government to keep the project alive. https://www.southwarklabour.com/2025/10/03/labour-councillors-launch-petition-for-peckham-rye-station-upgrade/ It's dead in the water surely?
    • Yep CRP Dave. It reminded me of Jess Phillips a couple of weeks ago, when the grooming gangs enquiry started going tits up.  It's not very statesman-like to lose your shit like that in the chamber. It's one unedifying display after another.
    • no need to be snipey mulumbo - just trying to understand what you want to achieve - if you have what you need great - no need to be ungrateful or unkind
    • He should be. His behaviour has been appalling. Refusing to comply with a Speaker's request to come back to the HoC and explain himself shows utter contempt to parliament and the electorate. If he had any any integrity he would resign. Nothing to do with the prisoner, but all to do with his arrogance and contempt. This Labour party don't have any integrity at all though. We are two weeks away from the Chancellor of the Exchequer breaking a fundamental manifesto commitment. Breaking promises like demeans the entire contract between voters and MPs. If she doesn't resign for breaking those promises (she won't) then all manifesto promises going forward have to also be treated as lies, not worth the paper they are written on.  She should have already resigned herself for the breaking the law over her failure to register as a landlord. They are an absolute disgrace. And whilst all this farce plays out in Downing St where the fuck is the Prime Minister? Nowhere to be seen, unanswerable to the public about this disgraceful shambles.
