Some ass hole has attempted to steal my gate, they unscrewed from hinges and left it to come and collect it when the coast was clear, just a heads up people

You can get metal property marking kits to deter this. But it isn't cheap.

Some years ago we funded some of this for lead roofs in the area to prevent such crime.

if we see any of this crime in our areas I will organise some of this metal marking kit stuff. But feel free dulwichgourmet to mark your own now - probability they will be back.

James Barber Southwark has to move to distribute marking kits across the borough

I was at a MOPAC event Thursday the 10th and spoke about smart water with police lieutenant Walthamstow and it is very clear that everyone needs to have everything of value marked with smart water/ met trace same thing and then DISPLAY in window. When nicked stuff gets collected by police if it has this tracer mark it is CONFISCATED no matter what. Without the mark it can be given back to the crooks if there is any doubt in the minds of the police.

Bad guys will avoid property that they think might be marked

There must be a way to mark and display you've marked metal you have outside like fencing
