Really? The end of gas cooking and heating? The closure of gas fired power stations given they currently supply circa 40% of the UK's power needs? Has the world gone nuts?

Electric could actually be produced by Coal, Gas, Nuclear or other.

If the government really wanted to push alternatives fund the Swansea lagoon - instead of delaying.

I have a a Rayburn Nouvelle and a Rangemaster - they cover all my cooking needs. Still use gas when camping.
