63 bus

Hello, does anyone know where the 63 bus is now termintating - it seems to have changed routes this week (from Honor Oak FHT to Forest Hill). And has anyone noticed how much busier it is, or is it just me?!

I heard the female announcer say '63 to Forest Hill' only once so wasn't sure if I had heard correctly. Tried to see if the bus made the right turn into Wood Vale but am pretty sure it did it's usual U-turn back round to the stop by the cemetary.

I haven't taken my usual commute this week so cannot say whether it has been busier except for today when it went zooming pass The Gardens without stopping (and there was quite a crowd waiting too). This was around 8am.

Yep yep yep - busy as arse - I have surmised (perhaps incorrectly) that it's because there seems to be a longer wait for each bus too, both on the way there and back.

Don't know if the Forest Hill terminus is now a regular thing, but it's been at least twice in the last few days.

Yep. I had 'Forest Hill' as the announcement last night. Very long wait to get on at Elephant and then was very busy all the way home. But was 5.30pm-ish.

I came back earlier in the week and it announced"Forest Hill" as the destination, but it still terminates at Forest Hill Tavern on Forest Hill Road and then turns round as usual.

2 buses full (not stopping) by rye lane heading into town last week.

I'm sure it's busier.

Yep, I can confirm this is the case now and it also still says Honor Oak on the front of the bus. I noticed other people who got off also checked the front of the bus as they walked by too.

During the recent traffic works at that junction I spotted an emptied of it's passengers 63 do a 3 point turn just before the the traffic island opposite the cemetary entrance and rattle immediately back to Peckham. I was both impressed by the skillfully executed manoevre and the sheer audacity of it. I could almost feel the driver of the 63 drawing up behind do a double take.
