  1. Great, thank you everyone! Looks like Sunday will be a nice day for a walk as well if the forecast doesn't change...
  2. Thanks, will do - although we've pretty much given up on recieving mail to our flat and have changed all the addresses for banks etc now!
  3. My partner and I have resorted to getting our post delivered to our parents homes because of the appalling lack of post. We have only had about 2 or 3 letters delivered since Christmas. Complaining to Royal Mail doens't seem to help...
  4. Hi, Apologies if this been answered before - I have done a search and it came up with about a million responses but I couldn't find what I was looking for.... What is the best way to get into Dulwich woods for a walk? Is there anywhere I can find a nice walk mapped out that I can take my parents on this weekend? Thanks!
  5. Ah ok, I just wasn't sure if it would be possible to buy a zone 2 to london terminals ticket without having to pay for the travelcard part as well. I think it would useful as I use quite a few stations in Zone 2 on a regular basis (Brockley as well) but don't use the tubes.
  6. Hello, Can anyone tell me if I buy a Peckham Rye to London terminals (not travelcard) ticket, can I use this from other stations in zone 2 as well? I'm just asking as I use both - East Dulwich station is nearer to me, but Peckham Rye has more choice in trains. I'm assuming it shouldn't matter as it costs the same to travel from both stations? Thanks
  7. 63 buses were all starting from Nigel Road about 8am this morning.
  8. Hi, Can anyone tell me approximately how long the 37 bus takes from East Duwlich Road to Clapham Junction (not in rush hour)? Or is there an easier way to get to Clapham Junction from ED? Thank you
  9. We frequently get post for other addresses - once or twice a week at least. Often the address isn't even on the same road!
  10. Hello, does anyone know where the 63 bus is now termintating - it seems to have changed routes this week (from Honor Oak FHT to Forest Hill). And has anyone noticed how much busier it is, or is it just me?!
  11. Its a lovely part of ED to live in. I live just off Tyrrell road on Ferris Road and its really safe, very quiet and close to everything you need. Peckham Rye park is just around the corner, Lordship Lane is a 10 minute walk, East Dulwich and Peckham Rye stations are both within walking distance...you'll love it!
  12. I'd recommend the 63 bus as well - get it every day to Farringdon, so just a few stops further on from Southwark station. It will take around 45 mins, but you'll always get a seat if you get it from Honour Oak - plus they are so regular.
  13. Ah thanks for the replies - library it is then! Can you just register there and then at the library?
  14. Hello! I'm moving to East Dulwich on Saturday and won't have internet for a couple of weeks until our phone line is activated. Are there any internet cafes on LL? And does anyone know what sort of rates they charge? Thank you!
