Dulwich Born And Bred
Rather than take a trip to Peckham on the off chance that Boots sell the MAM bottles ( none are on their website) does anyone know if I can purchase a MAM bottle in Dulwich? I am trying to get my son to take expressed milk, he does ok with Tommee Tippee but only after tears and if someone else feeds him then straight after he wants my breast which is defeating the object, I thought I would give MAM a go but my mum said Sainsbury's do not sell them. lorraineliyanage
The chemist on Northcross MIGHT sell them, unless I am confusing this with the NUK bottles?? Mellors
Sainsburys dont, but I am pretty sure that Northcross Chemist or the chemist next to the Post Office by Peckham Rye does. millie42
I have always used MAM bottles and think they are great esp as they have the orthodontic teats which my two really preferred to all the others that we tried. Sorry no idea where to source them in ED as I have always bought mine from Mothercare! Apologies - that was not much help was it?M Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/8735-does-anyone-know-if-i-can-buy-mam-bottles-locally/#findComment-266155 Share on other sites
amydown
Hi Heidi,We've had a successful night of feeding with bottles with the Breast Flow ones, so thank you!! (he refused it this morning but shall try again later)If you fail to find any stores selling MAM bottles locally, I was going to order them online.http://www.mamonlineshop.com/ Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/8735-does-anyone-know-if-i-can-buy-mam-bottles-locally/#findComment-266173 Share on other sites
anna_r
I searched for them all over dulwich with no luck. I believe I found them in mothercare in Peckham or online from mambabyshop.com Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/8735-does-anyone-know-if-i-can-buy-mam-bottles-locally/#findComment-266235 Share on other sites
Dulwich Born And Bred
Thanks everyone, I just got back from Peckham mothercare with my MAM bottles, they did not have any medium flow teats in stock so I shall have to try the slow and fast teat. I hope it is successful.Amy, I am really pleased you are having luck with breastflow x Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/8735-does-anyone-know-if-i-can-buy-mam-bottles-locally/#findComment-266275 Share on other sites

anna_r
When I went into that vale chemist they had mam bottles but not the ultivent type with the special silk teat...just in case someone buys those and baby doesn't accept them you might want to try the other type Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/8735-does-anyone-know-if-i-can-buy-mam-bottles-locally/#findComment-266538 Share on other sites

lorraineliyanage
Is it other people's experiences that babies become less fussy as they get older with bottles? My daughter rejected all bottles around 5 months, and then suddenly picked back up around 9 months and drinks out of anything now. It was a pretty tough 4 months when she wouldn't take a bottle though!
