m-ah
Has anyone got a solution for the problem that google have created with my keyboard? It makes typing increibly frustrating as it does not type all the letters, and now has affected other sites like ebay and this forum. It has taken me nearly five minutes to type this correctly. It is not the fault of my computer as it works for word. Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/8796-google-mail/ Share on other sites

ianr
It is quite probably some application hogging your CPU, rather than anything specific to google. AVG or Firefox are among possible likely current candidates. If you're using Windows, try running Windows Task Manager and check what processes are using the CPU when the problem occurs. Some people have also reported Firefox 'losing focus', ie changing which is the active window without good cause. If that's the cause, clicking your mouse in the window you want to be active would restore your ability to type in it. m-ah
Dear Ruffers, it may not be, but thank you for your helpful advice. It is a common problem that is happening to thousands of people's computers, something to do with maybe new versions of software.
