ruthlie
We are a couple with a 20 month old toddler looking to buy a flat for around the ?230,000 mark in the South East London area. I'm aware that this is a long shot given the price of property at the moment but hope you don't mind me posting something on the off chance. We are first time buyers, with a mortgage already in place, ready to move immediately (no chain), and more than happy to do work to a property. Have moved in with parents in the meantime but would love to be able to come back to the area in some capacity as it is where we got married and where our daughter was born, and as such - where we really feel is home. Looking for ex-council/Dawson's Heights/or anything remotely in our price range! Any help much appreciated. Happy New Year :) Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/88395-young-family-looking-to-buy-flat-in-the-new-year-south-east-london/ Share on other sites

Bovine Juice
Another thumbs up for Penge. I live there and have done for the last 20 years and it's improved markedly over the last few. Really good community vibe and lots of great, and still relatively cheap, Victorian properties. ruthlie
Thanks so much for keeping an eye out - we need a 1 bed where we can at least fit a toddler bed in as well as a minimum ... really difficult when looking for a reasonable amount of space for a toddler too...
