Hello everybody,


Great to see such a big group last night!


As last night we played - at least some of us - a game that upped a bit the ante from what we have been playing up until now, I finally have the courage to suggest we play Dead of Winter next week.


In Dead of Winter, we are a colony of survivors after a zombie apocalypse and we are all desperately trying to make it through the winter and keep the bloody walking dead at bay. In order to survive, we have all to work together, but - as the saying goes - keep you friends close... One of us, in fact, MIGHT be a TRAITOR with the secret objective of just watching the world burn.


It's a great game, but the setup and the rules are a bit more complicated that the usual games we have been playing up to now, so I guess I am trying to ascertain if people would be up for it. It wouldn't seem fair just to just spring it on people. The game can have max 5 players. If you have a spare 45 mins, you can watch the Tabletop episode here

Quiet week!


Anybody who has only been once - or not at all - don't be put off by the more complex games we've been discussing. There are always plenty of fabulous 5-min-teach-time games there that we love to play.

Hello everybody,


I don't know if anyone is planning to be around tonight. Rob and I can't make it, unfortunately, due to a bad cold - just in time to celebrate spring! We'll be looking forward to more games next week though. Have a great Easter break!

      As @Angelina says, We Choose Medivet LL Over the likes of 'Snoots' because We have an incredible Vet there who has actually correctly diagonsed what is wrong with our Elderly cat on two occasions before the blood test results even came back and because being part of a chain when he suddenly became seriously unwell we were able to go their Camberwell Emergency 24 hour Vet.

      Did Xmas in Southern India years ago, odd having piped carols when there was no actual celebration.  Cuba was nice and chilled.  Viet Nam before mass tourism on a very quiet beach.  Mexico/ Oaxaca was lovely and sunny with a radish festival too.  Iceland was exactly that - cold and very icy and we got snowed in.  My favourite in Spain was Granada and going down to the beach (and swimming) on Xmas day.  Did the same in Morocco.  Central Nigeria was a different one with lots of singing and dancing at a three hour church service and all the bright colours.  Two times in small resorts in France skiing, once with an absolute bucket full of snow on Xmas evening.  Mountain restaurants open. London dull in comparison.  Not that I am competing of course.
