It's a lovely nursery. Really high standard of care / teaching. My son has been in the upstairs room for eighteen months or so and there's been no staff turnover at all. He loves all the teachers and there seems to be a great balance between the nurturing and caring side of things, but also lots of imaginative teaching too (making an actual Stick Man after they read the story, learning about the solar system using a 3D model, learning about how metal conducts using some sort of cool bit of science kit!) Quite a few of the kids there wrote their own letters to Father Christmas! Would highly recommend. PM me if that helps.
I completely agree with Kate H. My son has been there for 18 months and loves it too. He comes home teaching us new songs and talking through things like the life cycle of a butterfly. Would also highly recommend. Similarly PM me if helpful.

Also wanted to pitch in and say how great this nursery is. My son was at another local Montessori and we weren't happy. Parveen, Mervin, Gaby and the staff here area all wonderful and have worked with us on dealing with issues that come up with toddlers in a positive way. He's doing so well there and is happy on drop off and pick up every day!

I would also like to add a very positive review for Little Fingers - our boy has been there since he turned 1, and he has been so very happy ever since. Comes home full of happiness every day, and we can see how much he looks forward to being dropped off in the mornings (he often doesn't want to leave! when we pick him up!). We have been very impressed with how attentive the staff are to his needs, and a real sense that they take pleasure in their jobs, supporting him in his development in imaginative ways - combined with a genuine warmth and love for seeing the little ones grow and learn. Really wouldn't hesitate to heartily recommend... They've (finally) got a website, www.littlefingersmontessori.com, and also (after a bit of a wait) got their 'mymontesorri child' online progress/development diary for parents up and running which is a good addition.

    • It's taken time to see the legacy of Thatcher's free market policy but we're really seeing it now with utilities, housing and infrastructure 😢.  I think I've remembered correctly that on Dirty Business they said we are the only country in the world to have our water supply totally privately owned.   When it gets taken back into public ownership the private owners will rub their hands together with glee having withdrawn massive profits and bonuses over the last 30 + years, let the infrastructure go to pot and now have the taxpayer come back in after this long period of neglect and pay for the failing systems to be rebuilt.  If you think those companies will suffer at the hands of government then you have more faith than I.  Thatcherism has a lot to answer for ☹️
    • what's scandalous is our government allowing it. The should and can impose fines and order works which would lead to TW becoming bankrupt, at which point it can be taken back into the public domain.
