Why are most of the threads about the albany birthing team locked?

Just noticed the most of the albany discussion threads are locked. Has the forum administrator explained why?

yes, because there were several threads about it but essentially all discussing the same thing, so the others have been locked and everyone is now commenting on the one open thread

gald you bought this up...because I was the one that posted the other threads...and although they are about the Albany...its trying to open up the debate further, and not just talk about the Albany, but the great issue at hand...that is women should demand the Albany Model of Care and that in 1986, WEndy Savage went through the same thing and was totally cleared and is now a professor and has supported the ALbany Midwives legal battle with money.

peckham_mum, I think all of this can be discussed in one thread, I am fully supportive, but I do think it was getting a bit out of hand with 4 different threads all very closely related.
