Hello, my year 7 son gets really stressed over drawing pictures. This is getting to be a bit of a problem as now he is in year 7 he often has to draw for parts of his homework.

He won't let me help him as gets himself into a right state as he just finds drawing really difficult. I am not very good at art and I try and get him to try stuff on you tube with me or follow simple methods but he just won't have it.

Does anyone know of any art classes locally that help children with drawing please? Not ones for toddlers or really little kids though.

Thanks, liz

It may not be what you want, but one avenue is the website diy.org - an American site running a virtual scouts type thing for 6-14 year olds, where kids earn badges or 'patches'. But they also do online courses for kids lasting 1 month, costing from $15 a month. The courses include illustration, cartoon drawing and other drawing subjects.

    • Why would mice move? It’s not so much they move as multiply and spread    copy and paste rather than cut and paste  mice can and should be dealt with.  But not easily or with guarantees  i would say most people in se22 reading this have mice. Whether they know it or not

    • If a food outlet has a mouse problem then it's likely to stay there until the outlet runs out of food, unless it's adjacent to other food outlets. Why would the mice move? And mice can be dealt with. If you are prepared to pay for it. Which, with some proprieters, is a very big if. I have no evidence that the problem has reoccured in its new inception, although obviously good owners keep the focus on good hygiene. You win the battle but the war continues.
