Plumber recommendation- Maurice

I can highly recommend Maurice. He is quick to respond and is very reasonably price but most importantly he does an excellent job. I originally got his number from the forum and have used him many times. Maurice today happily replaced very difficult kitchen tap, which involved some remodelling of a cupboard. Excellent job. 07720648273

Another recommendation for Maurice the plumber who fitted a kitchen tap for us this week that was in a very tight space and needed a little extra pipe work. He is reliable, competitively priced and a pleasant guy to deal with. Good to find a a reliable plumber who turns when they say they will and doesn't charge the earth!

I cannot recommend Maurice highly enough. We had a burst kitchen sink cold water pipe very early this morning. Called him and he arrived very promptly. He politely explained what needed to be done and fixed it straight away!! He is very competitively priced, but more importantly a professional and competent plumber.

Thank you so much!

Another recommendation for Maurice. He fixed our kitchen tap that had been dripping for weeks and also replaced the fixings on a slipping toilet seat where very tight access had prevented us from sorting this out ourselves. I found Maurice to have good communication and he was very pleasant to deal with. I would be more than happy to contact him again should the need arise.
Very happy with Maurice's work. He texted me to say he would be running a few minutes late. He arrived, got the job sorted (washing machine rinsing on hot needed pipe rerouted and replacing a shower thermostatic cartridge) with no fuss and a calm attitude. Thanks Maurice.

Another recommendation for Maurice the Plumber. He did a great job installing an outside tap for my hose pipe.

Very professional, neat and tidy. He also came up with best solution of where to install the pipe which I was very pleased with as it meant I didn't have ugly pipes. He also fixed my wonky toilet. Reasonable rates too.

Would highly recommended him.

I have had Maurice do a number of plumbing jobs over the last couple of years including refitting taps, bath, toilet, installing piping, etc. He is a very nice decent guy, is always very polite & easy to deal with, punctual, does a good job & is reasonably priced. He is the non-gas plumber of choice.

Another recommendation for Maurice. He fixed a leaky shower. I paid somebody before to fix the leaky. The problem was never fixed. The guy didn't find the problem. I found Maurice here on EDF. He discovered the problem and fixed. Thoroughly recommended. 07720648273

Another recommendation for Maurice. He sorted out a blocked kitchen sink for us (which took quite a bit of work). He was running a bit late, but texted me to say that he would be there soon and arrived 10 minutes after. Very nice and polite guy, did a great job and was reasonably priced. Highly recommended! • There are two causes for this problem   The first is that modern safety requirements for cars (to protect pedestrians and cyclists in collisions) mean huge amounts of excess spacing in crumple zones to provide a cushion on impact. For example, in the past a lot of pedestrians suffered catastrophic head injuries when they ran in front of a car, because the bonnet was close to the engine block, so their heads bent the bonnet into the solid immovable engine and their heads cam off worse. To mitigate that there is now a huge amount of flex and space so that the head is cushioned from the engine. Naturally, the rest of the body work and car frame has had to increase to accommodate this safety measure.   The second issue is electrification.   Electric cars are massive because they have to carry huge batteries around to make them work. Massive amounts of space and height is given over to batteries in electric cars. The new electric Renault 5 (described as a "compact" hatch back) is nearly 4 metres long 2 metres wide.    That makes it longer and wider than the original Range Rover.
    • Pretentious status vehicles.  Last year I was trying to drive down my own street but, being in a little, inferior car, was expected to make way for a stream of SUVs / Chelsea tractors as they barged along beside me. After what felt like an age, I saw a window of opportunity, but was beaten to it by yet another tank. By this stage I was irate (I hate the things) and having a full on shouting match with myself behind the wheel.  A Tesla in the oncoming queue pulled in, flashed and courteously allowed me to take my moment. The Tesla's windows were tinted, but not so much that I wasn't able to make out the driver, as I passed him. I'd recognise that mega-watt smile anywhere. It was Peter Crouch, laughing and giving me the thumbs up, clearly entertained by my tantrum.
    • I recently had a utility room built, next to the kitchen. Dean Richards and his team carried out the works, they did a fantastic job. Thorough, with attention to every detail.  If you are considering an extension, refurbishment or renovation, Dean comes highly recommended.  Dean Richards  07888 651798
