When someone asked a similar question recently at http://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/forum/read.php?12,1221907,1225269#msg-1225269, I replied "I'd just try again. You should (I've just experimented) be sent a further verification email with a second confirmation code, which I expect would work.", though there's no feedback from the poster. My first guess, if that fails, would be that the email's been filtered to a spam or junk folder somewhere en route.

Hello Admin

I've been trying to contact you, regarding advertising, I noticed you haven't seen any of my emails, my new address registered is Heat Firm Ltd, 201 Lordship Lane, East Dulwich, SE22 8HA, registered in England and Whales Company No.08034605

What's the deal on multiple usernames? I have this one which I registered ages ago on a bit of a whim but I would also like to register a username to represent my business. Is this allowed? I don't want the two getting muddied...I say some rather dubious things on here at times.

So presuably not a biggie, I shall register away...

I wish we could, it was a bit of custom code and after we installed a software upgrade it broke the site, all the pages were blank. I made the call that people would rather see the site and put up with some people rather than not see the site at all. Apologies, I know it is a missed function but I can't see it coming back in the near future.

Hi there

My friend has an account under the username Kenmare and has asked for a password reminder but not had anything through as yet. They have also set up a new account KenmareDandy but not had a link emailed as yet? They are checking junk mail too. Can you help?

Thanks

    • The step means Love Dulwich is not disabled friendly though they went to help someone on  crutches up the step last time we were there  much prefer it as a Turkish than café but maybe not for this group   The noise level might be an issue as it’s all hard surfaces though I don’t recall it being noisy. check out Olivelli the menu has a good range  though it’s not the best Italian you can get. There’s also a step up into Maria’s - much smaller but you need to negotiate the step and door at the same time. Olivelli has more room and if I remember right the toilets are on the ground floor. A consideration if steps are an issue The Lordship might be an option. Noise is not usually an issue. We’ve enjoyed various meals there. The ladies toilets are on the same floor as the tables (the gents may be upstairs). The staff are always friendly

    • But all those examples sell a wide variety of things,  and mostly they are well spread out along Lordship Lane. These two shops both sell one very specific thing, albeit in different flavours, and are just across the road from each other. I don't think you can compare the distribution of shops in Roman times to the distribution of shops in Lordship Lane in the twenty first century. Well, you can, but it doesn't feel very appropriate. Haa anybody asked the first shop how they feel? Are they happy about the "healthy competition" ?
