Ah...

The recession has hit the recreational drug world too

The "Mr Big" round the corner to us has hit an all time low in his revenue stream

I over heard him in the "Spar" the other day

"It's f****g hard out there, no ones buying anything"

Never mind, he can watch his 52" inch plasma 'till things get better

W**F

I really can't be arsed with smoking dope I prefer(ED) my narcotics to be more on the 'upper' side of the equation but one thing I've noticed is that many of the really heavy dope smokers i've known have technichally been non-cigarette smokers, in reality I don't think many of them realise is they've actually picked up a nicotine habit and smoke numerous slpiffs to deal with this.

The other thing is constant smoking of poorely rolled unfiltered spliffs can't be good for one in the sense that a joint must equal 2-3 ciggarretes worth of nicotine/tar etc. Harmless my arse, let alone what big says. Don't get me wrong, I'm all for a liberalising the drug laws but a spliff constantly championed as a risk free, natural, gift from god...do me a favour

    • A new roadmap (surely railmap?!) for rail accessibility has been published: https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/accessible-railways-roadmap It says "approximately 56% of stations and around 66% of the 1.3 billion journeys that take place on the network have step-free access to platforms...  "£373 million has been committed over the next 5 years to deliver Access for All projects, providing step-free access from station entrances to and between platforms, alongside other essential accessibility upgrades. These works, together, will increase the number of step-free stations across Great Britain from 56% to 58%. "This improvement will make travel easier with step-free access available at stations covering an increased share of total rail journeys – from 66% up to 71%" Don't know what that means for us here: upgrading Peckham Rye would cover a lot of rail journeys but the cost has no doubt increased from the £40m figure previously quoted. So that would eat into a lot of the funding.
