I have a massive bike case that measures 115cm x 80cm x 40 cm and I need to know if it will fit in the boot of a Renault Kangoo or Citreon Berlingo. I'm off to Spain this summer, need to book a car and both these vehicles look like they have a promising amount of boot space. If you would mind getting out your tape measure and setting my mind at rest (or not) I would be very grateful!

Not too sure about the boot size, I have a van version. You could find out if the seats go down as I can tell you the case will fit in the door opening. The car version has a slightly wider load opening as the hinges are at the top.

Hope this is some use

None of the info provided tells you how big a Berlingo/Kangoo boot is though. Surprising, I assume a person buys a vehicle like this because they need the seats too. How much space is left in the boot when the seats are up would be useful knowledge.

    • Thanks penguin  always wondered about that place and that’s way more info than I ever thought I would get  (used to live above a gun nut on friern road - he would tell me nothing)
    • There was a Saturday afternoon crowd of enthusiasts, and at other times the owner might have been off acquiring stock. He also repaired air guns, which he also sold. He stocked edged weapons, uniforms, including antique uniforms, air guns and ammo and starting pistols and shot. Some medals and other militaria. Quite a lot of ex service chit chat on a Saturday. I had an amateur interest, didn't deal a lot, in English pattern swords and other mainly 19th century militaria. And made some good purchases there. I'm afraid WWII and later events was the major focus of most of the regulars.
    • Did anyone actually venture in to that place? I recall it always being closed/very uninviting!
